Directions

Here is a map with directions. (We are next to the Barcelo hotel)

From Faro Airport

Leaving Faro airport take the first exit on the right at the roundabout (The roundabout has statues of people looking up to the sky)

Take the exit signposted towards Faro and Sao Bras but not towards Espanha or the A22.

At the roundabout go right round to the 3rd (left turn) exit and you will  be on the N2 northbound.

Follow the N2 until you see an exit on your right marked for IP1 Espana. (This junction can catch you out so keep a look out for it)

Follow the NP1 for 40 minutes until you cross the bridge into Spain.

Take the first right after you have passed over the bridge and follow the signs for Ayamonte.

Now follow the map above.

What to do when you arrive at the apartment building.

The apartment number is 73. There is secure parking and the space is marked 73. You will find it to the right of the security lodge as you drive through the gates. It is up against the fence.

The keys will have an electronic fob which when pressed opens the gate to the car park. There is also a side gate key. This opens the pedestrian gate next to the large electronic car park gate and also the pedestrian gate at the sea front. If the fob fails to open the gate use the pedestrian entrance and press the button which is located on a free standing pole a few feet away from the gate. It looks like a light switch. There are two pedestrian gates one at the front and one at the rear of the complex and both gates use the same key.

There is a lift to the apartment and its on the 4th floor. Turn left at the entrance to the pool and follow the path. Take the lift to the 4th floor and the apartment is in front of you as you exit the lift.

In the apartment there is a red folder with instructions on how to use everything and its should cover all you need to know.
