Time To Leave Your PJs On And Relax!

I just wanted to share this photograph. I took it of my family just relaxing in Isla Canela at our apartment. It’s great to visit new places, explore markets and get active but sometimes you just need cosy up and do absolutely nothing!!!!!!! Have a great Sunday and if you can stay in your pjs until lunch…

Take Away The Pain And Relax!

When the kids fall head first in the sea, when they start to have a complete breakdown and need to just go home and shower. You’ll be thrilled you decided to stay with us. The tears will soon stop. We are just 80 metres from the beach and our guest shower room is perfect for getting them all warmed up and clean before dinner and a stop of CBBC! This is an action shot from this afternoons drama!

The Autumn In Spain

For children Autumn in the UK sees the start of darker nights, Halloween, Bon fire night and Christmas lights. In Spain Halloween isn’t really celebrated but there’s lots of other fun and colourful fiestas and carnivals coming over the next few months. It’s one of our favourite times to visit. Plaza Laguna in Ayamonte is a great spot to let the children play while you have a coffee at a cafe in the plaza and if you do want to let the kids explore Halloween all you really need is a plastic spider and a passing few nuns!! I still laugh at my daughters face in this picture!!!

Tapas Thursday Is For The Kids

Isla Canela Spain

School holidays are almost here and there’s no need to be scared if your travelling to Spain for the first time with young children. Restaurants are so accommodating as far as children are concerned. La Cabra does hot dogs my kids love, chips by the bucket load and omelettes which are always a great option at home or when out and about. So don’t be scared if you fail miserably, which I would be a slim possibility, they can always go and play just in front of you on the beach while you enjoy your meal in peace!

Keeping The Little Ones Happy

Tapas Thursday

We’ve been loving our lunches on the beach but with a young family we have to keep them happy too. This seemed to work at the newly opened La Cabra, hot dogs! Couldn’t convince her to try the yummy chocos (fried cattle fish) but that left more for me 🙂
